Whats been happening at kitz katz?
15/06/11 11:44PM
Well June is up on us and were all ready to go with our brand new penthouse family pens, over looking the pond and pergoda, the sun on this area all day so our little friends can bask in the sun the fitted with 60cm heaters they will be nice and cosy for the winter months.
We have cleared the land along side the exsisting pens ready to build are play area, hopefully this will be completed soon.
We are getting very busy and are at least 90% full for the summer so if you are thinking of booking please book soon, to avoid disapointment.
Our heart went out to two of our clients as they have lost there life long friends in the past few weeks Lucy C, and Reggie. They will be sadley missed by all at Kitz-Katz.
Two of my regular babies have moved to Aberdeen (Scrap/Munchkin) "we will miss the boys" thery were great fun to look after.
Nasha & Cookie came to stay for four days Nasha was a bit special, he had fits and needed a lot of care and attention,
Every day was a new day in Nasha world, if you have seen the film" ground hog day" you will no what i mean. he would wake up and have to learn to do every thing as if it was his first time.
Cookie was Cookie and went with the flow as long as she got her cuddles, and of course her dinner she was fine.
All the babies whom come in the Cattery are special to me, i get very attached and love them all, the great thing about being with the cats they all have there own personilites, they all have there funny little ways. They all put up with the silly little songs i sing to them," and they dont complain", i always tell them a good night story and give them a kiss good night.
Well thats all i have to report for now i hope you enjoyed reading my news catch you soon. Ann
New units
18/03/11 11:30AM
Hi i am happy to announce we will shortly have two new chalet style units erected they should be ready for our Easter in take each can house up to four cats.
We are also extending the existing cattery to put on a play area so each cat can have some time out during the day.
The new area will be built around the trunk of a tree, so they will have plenty of bark to scratch on there will be lots of toys and beds for them to play with.
The garden is now showing some colour after the long winter, the sound of birds keeps the cats amused.
I can not wait for the summer so the cats can bask in the sunshine.
I am always looking for ways to improve the cattery and to keep our guest entertained so if you have any suggestions why not e-mail me.Ann
BBC Inside out wedding
18/03/11 10:51AM
Did you see the wedding i performed hear at Kitz-Katz it was shown on BBC inside out on 7th March the wedding was two little girls (civil service)
I really enjoyed marring them, they were the sweetest little dogs i have ever seen, Madam & Lottie enjoyed their day, They had sausages for their Wedding Breakfast and i wedding cake with two little bears on top, Madam refused to share her sausage with Lottie ("good start to there future eh") They look amazing in there wedding dresses. look out for our next wedding it is to be aired on SKY1 on 6th April the program is called a different bread.
It follows the life of Louise who owns Diva Dogs Parlor, this wedding is not to be missed she had the full works, its unbelievable.
Many people will think were bonkers ,( "we already new that") the end result is its a very funny documentary, i was pleased to be a part of it!
Enjoy! Ann
